VibrationVIEW Test Modules
VibrationVIEW, Vibration Research’s proprietary software, is used in conjunction with the VR9500, VR10500, ObserVR1000, and Medallion III to set up and monitor vibration tests and to perform automatic as well as custom reporting, can be configured for one or more standard test modules.
Innovations from Vibration Research®
The Vibration Research team is committed to solving our customers’ challenges. From rapidly measuring a product’s life expectancy to preventing over and under testing, we create innovations that increase the accuracy and speed of vibration tests. Here are our company’s proprietary test modules:
|FIELD DATA REPLICATION (FDR) utilizes real-time adaptive control; FDR enables test engineers to reproduce the actual acceleration waveforms measured in the field in their test lab.
|KURTOSION® is our patented innovative Kurtosis control method that effectively brings large peak accelerations back into the random vibration tests, making them more realistic than traditional Gaussian methods.
|FATIGUE DAMAGE SPECTRUM (FDS) gives engineers a reliable way to use real world data to accelerate a lifetime of fatigue based on your end use environment.
|INSTANT DEGREES OF FREEDOM® (iDOF) is our latest patent pending random vibration test module, provides the smoothest control lines in the industry. This helps with quick ramp up periods, tight tolerances, and easy detection of resonances.
|SINE TRACKING, ANALYSIS AND GENERATION (STAG) generates Sine on Random tests reflective of environments with dominant rotational tones that are rendered as sine tones on a shaker table.
Additional Test Modules
Run swept and/or fixed-frequency sine wave vibration tests, with control of acceleration, velocity, and displacement.
|SINE ON SINE
Run mixed-mode tests with up to 32 sine tones simultaneously.
Run Controlled spectrum random tests (tests with a spectrally shaped gaussian amplitude distribution).
|SINE ON RANDOM
Run mixed-mode tests with sine tones superimposed on a random background.
|RANDOM ON RANDOM
Run controlled spectrum random tests with swept random “tones” superimposed on a random background.
Import your time-based vibration data recording and convert to a power spectral density curve with breakpoint table.
Run standard classical shock pulses as well as (optional) user-defined or SRS synthesized transient pulses.
Perform Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) analysis. Run a shock pulse defined by a frequency vs. G peak table. Many different waveform synthesis generation techniques included.
Capture a transient waveform for post process. Use alone for data acquisition, or with SRS for Shock Response Spectrum analysis.
Run a shock pulse defined by a frequency vs. G peak table. Many different waveform synthesis generation techniques included.
Record your field acceleration measurements digitally, directly to your PC’s hard drive. RecorderVIEW can stream all the inputs and outputs to the hard drive while running other test modes, or used by itself as a field data recorder.
